At Shishu Bharati School, we celebrate the rich tapestry of India’s linguistic heritage. Our mission is to empower students in grades 1 through 8 with the knowledge and fluency of various Indian languages, fostering cultural understanding and appreciation.
The languages covered are –

At Shishubharati, all levels focus on reading, writing, speaking, and proper pronunciation of the language.
Level 1 focuses on alphabets, small numbers, short poems, own names and family names, relationships etc.
Level 2 covers vowels, words, compound letters, numbers, vocabulary, short sentences & more children’s poems.
Level 3 is about grammar, sentence building, and short conversation.
Level 4 is complex grammar, long descriptions, reading, and writing stories.
Levels 5 & 6 are about role-playing, Indian festivals, long stories, poetry, essays, and dramas.
Levels 7 & 8 are about literature, personalities, descriptions of events and experiences, essays, and storytelling.

All levels focus on what one can describe as immersive & experiential learning with games, role-playing, etc.

By the time they graduate, they are well versed in vocabulary, conversation, and ability to tell and write a story, as well as understanding & appreciation of their heritage.
